Wind Europe presentation and posters

As you already know if you have been following us, we have been very busy with the BeNeWakes project.
Our official role in this campaign is about coordination and quality control. However, our intrinsic scientific appetite is difficult to slow down, and we conducted research that we presented at this year’s Wind Europe events.

In April 2026, Erik presented a poster about the campaign setup and initial results at Wind Europe in Madrid. Poster: Initial results

But that was only the start, since in June 2026, for the Wind Europe Technical Workshop in Rotterdam, we gave one presentation and had two more posters:

• Melle gave an acclaimed oral presentation on model results and SAR comparison: Presentation: Model & SAR
  
• Rosanne from our partner Aktis Hydraulics had a poster on the potential effect of wakes on sea-state: Poster: Wakes & Waves
  
• Erik had another poster that we prepared with KNMI on how scanning LiDAR can estimate ABL height and blockage effect: Poster: SL & ABL height
  

We are not planning to stop, so keep an eye on this and follow along!
