Advising on solar and wind energy project in Sharjah (UAE)

The Sharjah government is investigating the realization of large-scale solar and wind projects, for which the availability of sun and wind power at the right locations is crucial. In this context, we are supporting Pondera/Haskoning by conducting a feasibility study for four specific locations. We draw on our nearly 17 years of experience, our strong network with local stakeholders, and our relationship with the client. The end result is a thorough study that takes all variables into account and forms a solid basis for the final development of the projects.

The Sharjah government is preparing large-scale solar and wind projects. An important question in this regard is whether there is sufficient solar and wind energy available and where these projects can (therefore) be realized.

Based on its nearly 17 years of experience conducting measurements and studies for the Sharjah government, we are supporting Pondera/Haskoning in determining the feasibility at four locations.
