REdouble is proud to support Pure Energie in their wind measurement campaigns. Since 2012, Erik and Maarten have worked closely with this forward-thinking Dutch wind energy developer and utility company, contributing to their first ZX300 LiDAR campaigns and building a strong, long-term partnership.
As Pure Energie continued to expand its wind energy portfolio, the need for reliable, accurate, and flexible wind measurement solutions became increasingly important. Especially at the time, transitioning from met mast to fully LiDAR-based campaigns required confidence in both technology performance and deployment consistency.
REdouble’s experts supported the campaign design, deployment and operation of Client’s vertical profiler wind LiDARs. Leveraging over 15 years of experience, we recently started our 21st campaign for Pure Energie, using their shipping container-based concept, originally designed by REdouble’s team members. This design and methods ensure an efficient setup, robustness, and continuity in operations. Our long-standing familiarity with both the equipment and the Client’s needs enabled a smooth and reliable implementation.
The successful campaign design and installation marks the beginning of providing a new series of measurement campaigns, wind resource & energy yield assessments, wind speed gradient determinations and in-situ LiDAR verifications, reinforcing a partnership built on a shared energy transition vision, trust and cooperation.
